After our initial consultation call, you’ll receive the contract and invoice. Securing your date requires a signed contract and a $1,000 retainer. The remaining balance is divided into two equal payments, with the final payment due one month before your wedding.

The pre-wedding experience is designed to be thoughtful and seamless, including consultation calls, venue walk-throughs, timeline guidance, flat lay detail planning, and support with creating a group shot list—ensuring every detail is organized and aligned with your vision for the day.

Within two weeks of your wedding, we’ll have a final call to go over last-minute details, adjustments, and your finalized timeline.

Do we need an engagement session?
Booking your photographer early in the wedding planning process is highly recommended. Beyond capturing your day, I can help guide you through aspects of the planning process—from timeline assistance to advice on colors or other vendor choices. My schedule typically books about six months in advance, but you’re always welcome to reach out at any time.
How far in advance should we book you?
Travel is one of the most rewarding parts of photographing weddings. I’ve captured celebrations in places like Oregon, California, Idaho, Mexico, and Florida, and I often travel for engagement sessions when couples are based out of state but getting married in Austin. If you’re considering an out-of-state or international wedding, I’d love to hear from you—please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Do you travel for weddings or engagement sessions?
I take my role as your wedding photographer very seriously, and while I’ve never missed a wedding, there are rare occasions when illness or emergencies arise. If this happens, I’ll communicate openly so you can decide what feels best. In the unlikely event I cannot attend, I have a trusted network of local photographers who can step in to ensure your day is captured beautifully. As a last resort, a full refund will be issued (excluding any completed engagement session).
What happens if you’re sick or unable to attend?
Super 8 film is a vintage format that brings a nostalgic, cinematic quality to your images, with its signature grain, soft textures, and warm, organic colors. It adds a timeless, retro elegance to your photos or videos—something digital can’t quite replicate. Super 8 evokes intimacy and character, creating moments that feel personal, enduring, and full of charm.
Available as an add-on to any package, Super 8 is a beautiful way to infuse your wedding story with classic, unforgettable style.

I understand what it’s like to be in front of the camera, and my goal is to make the experience as comfortable and natural as possible. Guidance is provided at every step, without forcing stiff poses, so you can move and interact authentically. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere, helping you feel confident and at ease while thoughtfully directing and highlighting what looks best. By the end of the session, many find themselves genuinely enjoying the process—and sometimes even surprised by how much fun it can be!
