You've anticipated this event for a long time - the day you get married and start the next chapter of your life with your partner by your side. You've dreamed about all the moments: your mom zipping your dress, being surrounded by your best friends, dancing with your dad. Now that this day is becoming more and more real, you might be realizing you want to enjoy all these things, rather than the day feel like a big photoshoot in a beautiful dress. While I'll guide you so you're never worrying about what's next, I'll also step back when the real moments unfold. There is something special about those moments anyway - genuine, unscripted, and emotional. There is no emotion that isn't worthy of being photographed. The tears, the laughter, the contemplation, all of it comes together to tell a story that you'll be able to relive through your photos.
Hiring a professional photographer can sometimes feel like you're being run through a list of impersonal poses. Every couple and wedding is different! You might be really comfortable in front of the camera or you might lack confidence. I'll meet you where you're at and by the end, no matter your level of confidence, you'll be feeling beautiful and comfortable. I'm less interested in putting you into a box of poses I use with everyone, and more interested in implementing how you interact naturally and showing off your best angles.
Preparation before the wedding is essential to executing your timeline smoothly and efficiently. Once you book with me, you're getting more than just photography coverage on the wedding day. For local weddings, I encourage you to walk through your venue with me before the wedding to talk over logistics and visualize the space. We'll have a phone call once your final timeline is set to talk through each point and what's most important to you so there are no surprises. With the heavy lifting out of the way, you'll be free to enjoy the wedding and allow me to keep us on track. Just savor every moment and create memories.
Fill out the inquiry form with details like your name, wedding date, and wedding venue.
Following an initial consultation call, I will send you my contract and invoice. The first 25% and a signed contract is required to book your date. The remainder of your balance will be split evenly between two payments, the final due one month before the wedding.
I offer a comprehensive pre-wedding experience, including consultation calls, venue walk-throughs, timeline assistance, flat lay detail planning, and guidance with creating a group shot list—ensuring everything is organized and tailored to your vision for the big day.
We'll have a final call within 2 weeks of the wedding to go over any last minute details, changes, and your final timeline.
Enjoy your sneak peek within 1 week of the wedding and final gallery within 8 weeks. Printing and album options are available!
My photography style is characterized by a sophisticated aesthetic influenced by editorial and photojournalistic photography. I focus on capturing authentic moments and emotions, looking for artistic ways to shoot that go beyond generic or posed shots. By exploring unique perspectives, light, and thoughtful compositions, I create images that are both meaningful and visually captivating, reflecting the true essence of your relationship or event in a way that feels fresh and relevant for years to come.
To initiate the booking process, please inquire through my contact form! From there we will schedule an initial consultation call.
While an engagement session is not required, it’s a wonderful opportunity to capture a special time in your relationship and get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. It’s also a great way for us to work together and for you to experience my style and approach. Many couples find that it helps ease any nerves about the wedding day, making it feel even more natural when we’re capturing those important moments.
I highly recommend reaching out and booking your photographer early on in your wedding planning. I can help guide you through a lot of the process from timeline assistance to some design choices like colors or other vendors. I'm usually booked out for 6 months at a time. With that said, you are always welcome to reach out at any point!
I love to travel and have shot weddings in locations such as Oregon, California, Idaho, Mexico, and Florida. I do often travel for engagement sessions as well if the wedding is booked in Austin but the couple lives in a different state. If you would like to inquire for an international or out of state wedding, please don't hesitate to reach out!
I take my role as your wedding photographer very seriously which means I sometimes work when I'm under the weather. I have yet to miss a wedding!
If I do fall ill, I will certainly let you know my condition so you can decide if you're comfortable with me being present. If I am unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, I have a network of photographers in the area that I trust completely that I would have fill in for me. I'll do everything in my power to find a satisfactory replacement! In the absolute worst case scenario, I'll issue you a full refund (excluding the engagement session if that had been performed).
Super 8 film is a vintage film format that offers a nostalgic, cinematic look with a unique grainy texture and soft, organic colors. It’s a great way to add a timeless, retro feel to your video or photo collection. Whether it's for capturing memories or creating a distinctive visual style, Super 8 has a charm that digital formats can’t replicate. Think of it as a way to evoke a sense of old-school elegance and warmth, creating images that feel personal, timeless, and full of character.
I offer super 8 as an add on to any package!
I completely understand how it feels to be in front of the camera, and my goal is to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I guide you through each step of the process, making sure you never feel forced into stiff poses. Something I really like about myself is my desire to set everyone around me at ease and genuinely help you feel your best. I'll thoughtfully direct you and won't hesitate to let you know what I think looks good. I think you'll be surprised to find you're having fun by the end of our shoot!
"From the get-go Haley asked relevant questions about our vision for our wedding day, for the editing of our photos, and ultimately what goal we wanted to walk away with. She delivered everything we wanted and more! Haley was always professional, communicative, and a great vendor to have by your side on your wedding day!"
